Description

Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by through routine preventative maintenance. Follows diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, and interprets manufacture’s instructions when necessary. Locates problem sources through visual inspections, sensory evaluations, and testing. Remove defective parts by using lifts, hoists, hand and power tools. Adjust and repair functional parts on engines, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

Daily communication with Plant Manager, Operators, and Tipping Floor supervisor on daily process flow and mechanical efficiency.
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment timely and efficiently.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all plant equipment
Procure operations consumables and parts for equipment repairs.
Work with controller to assure proper expense management and budgeting.

Qualifications

5+ years experience working with machines in an industrial production plant or comparable setting.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
High School Diploma
Basic desktop computer skills
